Austin is a fantastic city full of really great bars (aka 90% of the trip) and really good food. This is not an in-depth review or anything of the sort, more a commentary on what we did there. 🙂 The dates we were in town were the 2nd to the 8th, along with 10,000 other Red vs Blue fans, which was fantastic. I made a ton of friends and had a blast.
The crew, some old, some new. Myself on the far left.
I’m starting to think I’m allergic to pictures because all I have is a camera phone and the quality is less than acceptable. Instead I ought to lure you in with badly photoshopped pictures of food and kittens.
ANYWAY, way back when I was doing technical writing classes we had to pick food to cook and write a technical handbook for and then bring it in. It was pretty great, honestly, tons of free food. I don’t remember where the recipe came from that I used, but it follows this recipe pretty evenly.
Why am I forever the slowest blogger. 😦 I get so distracted so easily, it’s horrible. These last few months have been a rush of movies and fandom and general amazing things. 🙂 I recently went to Austin Texas, where I ate an absurd amount of delicious food – I’ll do a post on that later.
It took me a while to get back into the swing of cooking, but the roomie and I went to Starbucks to grab drinks and I saw some cream cheese danishes, and thought that I should really try making those. So, here we go! Taken from the following site: here!
